Heather graduated from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music where she earned her Bachelors and Masters degrees in Voice, as well as a postgraduate certificate in Opera Performance. A versatile performer, she has been seen professionally in opera, oratorio, concert and musicals with companies including Opera San Jose, The Bracebridge Dinners at Yosemite, 3 Below Theaters and Teatro Zinzanni in San Francisco and Seattle. She has performed one-woman shows at venues including San Francisco's historic Plush Room and the Lush Lounge.  

Heather has been teaching voice and piano for twenty years, and is known for her warm personality and down-to-earth teaching style. She combines her love of music and people to craft engaging lessons that are fun as well as effective for all levels! In addition to music fundamentals and performance techniques, lessons focus on building technique to transcend musical styles and to instill healthy habits for a lifetime of music, as well as musicianship and theory. Performance opportunities are available through the year to students in Heather's studio.
